Our client is a Care Home offering excellent facilities in a peaceful location in Berkshire.
They require a Sous Chef to work closely with the head chef and team to ensure that high quality and nourishing meals are prepared for the residents and staff at all times.
The 53-bedroom home has a created a reputation for outstanding attentive service to their clients and the food/meal service must be of similar quality.
·Communicate in an effective, timely and courteous manner with everyone
·Ensure that confidentiality is maintained at all times
·Follow all company policies and procedures
·Assist other members as and when required as part of a multidisciplinary team
·Perform any additional duties as required by Head Chef or General Management Team
·To prepare all meals for residents and staff as required
·To ensure high standards in food hygiene and the environment
·To maintain stock levels and stock rotation
·To assume responsibility for shifts determined by Head of Kitchen
·To keep a daily record of fridge temperatures and cleaning schedules.
TO WORK IN THIS PRESTIGIOUS HOME:
