Our client requires a Sous Chef for their Stunning 15th Century Events Venue set in 15 acres near Maidenhead, Berkshire.
The in-house team cater for all events, primarily weddings, with an increasing number of corporate, private parties, filming and occasional outdoor events. With forward bookings showing a significant growth for 2019 we now have the requirement to expand the existing team with the addition of a Sous Chef.
As part of the permanent team you will play a key role in preparation and delivery of a wide ranging and high quality offering. You will be involved in menu and presentation development, as well as being encouraged and mentored by our experienced Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to build on your knowledge and skills to fulfil your potential.
We are have a new expanded kitchen and our vision is to build a creative and visionary team that will grow with us.
Mainly working a 45-hour week, shifts will be a mixture of 9-5 for prep work, and later shifts for event delivery, primarily Thursday to Saturday, with most Sundays and Mondays off, depending on the needs of the business. On average you would work 2 weekends a month.
Discretionary bonus, workplace pension, 20 days’ paid holiday plus Bank Holidays with time in lieu when worked are offered.
We are offering a salary of £30,000 depending on experience.
