Sales & Events Executive


Henley-on-Thames RG9



Our client is a prestigious venue located near Henley-on-Thames. They are looking for an experienced
Sales & Events Executive to negotiate with potential clients and liaise with the Conference & Banqueting Department to ensure the smooth planning, operation and profitability of all events.

Responsibilities include:

* Administer and monitor weekly and monthly revenue targets
* Maintain contact with clients - both regular and past.
* Log and follow up all own enquiries.
* Ensure any enquiry or query answered punctually
* Ensure all clients are met on the day of their event and all goes to plan
* With wedding clients, acting as wedding planner
* Experience of managing events
* Set up and monitor future years function diaries and targets
* Proactive generation of sales leads
* Liase with Conference and Banqueting team and the Chef
* Prepare event quotations and costings
* Communication with external agencies and suppliers

Essential Skills:

* Event Management experience
* Wedding Planning
* Excellent customer service skills
* Telephone selling skills
* Computer literate
* Well organised with attention to detail.
* Good time management and prioritisation
* Interest in food and wine
