Our client is a Private Members Club situated close to the River Thames. They now require a Duty Manager or Trainee Duty Manager, depending on previous experience and qualifications.
This prestigious position will require you to organise the day to day supervision and management of operational areas. Identify specific tasks for staff and the communication and delegation of work schedules including the supervision of staff. You will also need to liaise with other departmental managers, therefore you must have excellent English communication skills. The position also includes equipment assessment, supply needs, order placing and checking deliveries.
Room reservations, amendments and confirmations using Property Management System, therefore you should be conversant with PMS operation and management functions.
A key part of the Duty Managers role is to provide the highest levels of service and efficiency to members and guests, meeting their individual and collective needs where possible within the club ethos and structure. In addition, gathering feedback from members to provide a platform within the club for further improvement.
At all times the building must be checked to ensure the highest standard of cleanliness and maintenance.
You must be reliable, well organised, orderly, methodical, personable with a willing attitude.
We need a team leader, as well as a team player that wants to develop their hospitality qualifications and skills,
You should be conscientious and committed to improving the member experience in the club.

Profitability (Control of stock and Operating Costs)
Standards (Bar, Dining Room and Private Parties)
Staff training and development.
Compliance with Employment Law
Maintenance of complete, up to date employee records
Development of individual training plans.
Health & Safety:
Compliance with Health and Safety Law and associated regulations.
Compliance with Food Hygiene Regulations
Compliance with Fire Regulations
Maintenance and Security Contracts
IT and communications
Development of eco-friendly policies
Security and Finance:
Opening and closing the Club; setting, disabling and resetting alarms.
Awareness of emergency procedures, alarm systems etc.
Overnight duty cover when required
